Vajira's immeasurable experience and broad-based knowledge of financial markets has been, and continues to be instrumental in revolutionizing the investment banking arena in Sri Lanka. While at NDB, Vajira has led numerous teams that have carried out successful and record breaking transactions which have earned NDBIB its current position as the leading investment bank in the country. Vajira was instrumental in introducing to the country, a new model for carrying out securitizations. This model was embraced as the industry benchmark in securitizations and, is still being adopted today.
Vajira has previously served in key strategic positions in a number of high profile organizations in Sri Lanka and overseas, including the Asian Development Bank, United States Agency for International Development, Sampath Bank and CKN Fund Management. He currently holds several directorships within the NDB Group and is on the board of Directors at the Colombo Stock Exchange.
Vajira hails from a multi-disciplinary academic background, having initially entered the engineering field where he obtained a BSc in Engineering (First Class), from the University of Moratuwa and a MEng in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand. He later diversified into the financial sector, specializing in investment banking and corporate financial management. He is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants UK (FCMA) and a CFA Charter holder. Vajira joined the NDB Group in 1997 and was appointed CEO, NDB Group, Investment Banking Cluster, in October 2009.

At NDB, Darshan is credited as being a dynamic team player, highly skilled in all aspects of Financial and investment markets. He has to his credit, led teams that have successfully managed a large number of IPOs and in doing so introduced to the country new products and achieved record breaking results. Darshan is renowned in the industry as a corporate advisory specialist, specializing in the area of corporate valuations.
Darshan joined the NDB Group in 2001 and has headed its Investment Bank arm since 2009. Prior to joining NDB, he has held senior management positions in a number of large organizations and banking institutions, including serving as Assistant Vice President at Vanik Incorporation.
Darshan's career is enriched with a myriad of different academic disciplines. He holds a BSc. in Physical Science and an MBA from the University of Colombo. He is an associate member of the Institute of Bankers, Sri Lanka and of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK. He also holds a CIMA qualification.

Kaushini specializes in the marketing and placement of capital market instruments. She is also an expert in the area of structured finance having led teams that have placed the largest securitizations and debentures in the country as well as being instrumental in introducing new financial products to Sri Lanka, such as interest rate swaps.
Kaushini is a dedicated financial professional with a BCom (Hon), Major Finance and Marketing (Cum Laude), University of Ottawa, Canada. On her return to Sri Lanka upon completion of her studies, in the year 2000, she joined the NDB Group. She was appointed as COO of NDB Investment Bank in April 2010.

Senaka joined the NDB group in July 2005 and was appointed to his present position in April 2010. Prior to joining the NDB group he has served as an IT consultant to a number of multinational organizations. Senaka's in-depth financial knowledge combined with his mathematical background has ideally positioned him to act as a formidable force in the corporate advisory services, focusing on Equity placements and valuations.
Senaka holds a BSc (Eng) in Computer Science and Engineering (First Class) from the University of Moratuwa. He is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK (ACMA) and a CFA Charter holder. Further, he is currently reading for his MBA for Financial Managers at University of Manchester.
